Year of the Dragon

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 8:18 am

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the warm, breezy, soon to be rainy island of Nantucket! It is Wednesday, February the first, 2012, as we look up at a bird atop the Edgartown Yacht club--“Ahoy, check it out Dr. M, I’m sailing, Ahoy! Ahoy!” (credit Mr. Bill Murray from the classic film also starring Richard Dreyfus, “What About Bob”, who made an appearance on“The Late Show, with David Letterman” last night in full football gear, New York Giants gear, and proceeded to miss his first two field goals, but, upon the third try, finally got it through the uprights!, well done sir!)–in Martha’s Vineyard, taking our hats off to the sailor in all of us, host of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” (5:30 a.m., counting ‘Way too early”-9 .m., eastern), Joe Scarborough, as he showed up to that fine morning show this a.m., sporting one of Mitt Romney’s hand me downs, a nifty v-neck double stripped sweater thing that screamed out, “Ahoy, matie!”. Personally Joe, I thought it looked ’super’. Tacking back into the wind, there is nothing wrong with over 30 million dollars being spent in Florida alone, 92 percent extremely negative Ads, monies that come from secret ‘donors’ who don’t ‘talk’ to the candidates because ‘that would be against the law…’, right? give us a break. Mitt Romney IS the poster child FOR the problems this country faces, and you, by now, should be well aware of that FACT, as you have a whole host of very smart people on set to guide you, least of all your co-host Mika, who shines above every day with common sense, civility and dare I say, a touch of grace…  However, your work with the Vets on that song at Christmas was top notch and the fact you are a Red Sox fan keeps you in the good graces of seacapecod.net nonetheless, even though I’m sure you could not care less about that one.  Have a wonderful day, and yes, if you care, Romney won the Florida primary last night, surging ahead in the delegate race, winning by 46 percent over Newt’s 27 or so, a man who vows to fight on for 46 more states, a message he wished to convey to the ‘liberal elite media’ by way of some fancy new shiny blue signs. Is it the liberal elite media or is it elite liberal drive by media?, I always get that confused. PRESERVE THE WILDERNESS! Peace~M
