Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the great island of Nantucket!  Great to be with you on this soggy morning here in Osterville, as the rains just keep on coming, with cool temperatures expected today and much of the rest of the week…  The political climate in this country is getting down right spooky, as I came across this picture of a ‘model witch’ in my portfolio of photographs taken here on the Cape.  She is no longer a witch, as she was rehabilitated via the Evangelical Church of the Great Blue Heron, where she learned that casting spells on people is just not very nice, although she maintains the right to fly anywhere (on her broom) within United States airspace and is still allowed to turn the occasional tea party candidate into a newt.  Christine O’Donnell could not be reached for comment this morning, however, as seacapecod.net has been trying since the witching hours of 3 and 4 a.m., the best time to reach a witch on either Twitter or Face Book, and so, we hope to hear from her soon, for we know that she has put away her broom until the election is over and all the candy from Halloween has been consumed.  A shrewd move on Christine’s behalf, as her handlers, the mult-national corporations, are watching her every move, giving advice, like the recent television spot and her denial of being a witch, and pouring massive amounts of money into the Delaware Senatorial election on November 2, 2010–stealth money, money that is untraceable.  The real “witch” in this equation is the “man behind the curtain”, such as the discovery of millions of dollars being poured into campaigns from foreign countries like China, who are now in the business of influencing our national political landscape with these funds, all thanks to the Citizens United Supreme Court ruling, whereby multi-national corporations can dump these huge amounts of monies into a campaign of their choice (tea party candidates), without full disclosure.  With an electorate possessing the attention span of a five year old, the calculations were correct when they made this ruling, giving the corporations the same rights as you or me when it comes to electing a real live human being to govern our country, it is not at all surprising that we, as a collective nation, are now facing this very real threat to the original United States of America.  You can see where this is going.  The Citizens United case has begun the erosion of one of the main pillars of the Constitution, one person, one vote, and thus, will usher in the new plutocracy that the republican party elders have been salivating about for over 30 years now.  When you have “men” like Joe Miller, running for Senate in Alaska, who is as radical as any of the tea party crazies, saying on FOX NEWS that he wishes to dismantle the minimum wage, and he is not alone, along with privatizing Social Security, eliminating Medicare, and repealing both the new health care LAW and Wall Street reform, not to mention destroying the Department of Education, the Environmental Protection Agency and cutting federal spending back to 2008 levels, taking out police, fire, teachers and scientists from our faltering economy so that he can justify extending the Bush tax breaks of 2001 and 2003 for the top two percent in this nation, ballooning the deficit by another 700 billion dollars this year alone, projected to be 4.4 trillion over the next ten years, you can see what a scary, spooky, party that involves tea of some sort has become, and moreover, what they plan to do if they gain power in the House of Representatives (God Forbid) on November 2, 2010.  When I watched the advertisement actually playing in the great state of Delaware, where Christine O’Donnell, looking pale and very much like a witch in denial, I thought to myself, “she looks a little doubtful that she is “not a witch” “, and when she said that she was “me”, I thought to myself once again, “If she is trying to convince herself that she is not a witch, and therefore has some doubt about the subject, and further, if she really believes that she is me, than would that not logically conclude that I could, because I am Christine O’Donnell, be a witch too?”  In the immortal words of Graham Chapman from “Monty Python’s Flying Circus”, when asking the angry crowd, of mid- evil England, who brought forth a woman who they claimed was a real witch, some “logical” questions regarding the validity of their claim, and in order to determine that, he had to establish an answer to the question of “what floats?”, for apparently witches do not, he received, in reply, these answers, not too far off the track to the answers that the republican party is giving to the real problems facing our country…”What floats?”….”Rocks, small churches, a duck…”  “Exactly”…  What floats is the path that WE as a nation are on right now, while the RTP, or republican tea party, would like you to continue to have amnesia and believe that rocks and small churches float, that the sky is green and that the RTP really gives a damn about the “American People”.  You want to see a real witch, just look at the mugs on the faces of the new and improved republican party, who really delved into their creative treasure chest to re-discover their original “Contract out on America”, and renamed the identical document of dog doo doo, “Lemon Pledge to America” (credit Keith Olbermann of MSNBC) that is chalk full of Voodoo economics handed down to these idiots from the ghost’s of Ronald Reagan, Donald Regan and Donald Duck.  VOTE ON NOVEMBER SECOND– please, for the love of GOD…  Have a nice day everybody!  PRESERVE THE WILDERNESS! Peace~M
