Top of the morning!

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 8:50 am

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the wonderful island of Nantucket!  Great to be with you on this Monday morning, the sixth day of June, 2011, another beautiful one, as evidenced in the picture you see above you, looking out on to Squaw Island, in Hyannis Port, and the Nantucket Sound beyond.  A lone American flag sits atop a hill that houses the Hyannis Port Golf club, a golfing venue that President Jack Kennedy, whose home is just down the street, played often.  The past few days have looked and felt exactly like this image and if this does not give you motivation to come on down and visit US here on little old Cape Cod and the islands of MV and Nantucket, I guess nothing will, however, as always, “we’ll leave the LIGHT on for you!” The New England region survived the simultaneous announcement by Mitt Romney, former Massachusetts Governor, that he will be running for President of the United States in 2012, and the bus tour of Sarah Palin and her brood, her “fam” (credit Bill Murray and the classic film, “What About Bob?”), as they whizzed up the eastern turnpikes and highways to visit, among many sights, Paul Revere’s adolescence, as Sarah explained in Boston on Saturday, you know, the whole, “one if by land, two if by sea,” or is the other way around, could someone please Google that for me?  “Do I have to do everything on this horrible bus, and why did we buy that God awful house in Arizona?, God I hate politics…”, she may well have uttered, or something like that, as we have no clear idea what actually transpired on that fine bus, complete with the “We the people” suggestion, suggesting, of course, that they actually believe in that concept…another clear sign of the republican times–hijacking something that should actually read, on the side of Sarah and Todd’s bus, “We the Plutocracy–a group that just doesn’t give a $hit and gives the word hypocrisy a run for it’s money ever time.” Well, it is only Monday, I am sure the week will heat up as we go along, speaking of heat, remember to get plenty of water and look out for those who may be vulnerable to the sun’s power, i.e. the older folks you may know.  Have a wonderful day and week ahead and don’t take any wooden nickels from the likes of FOX NEWS, remembering that it is a propaganda arm of Republicorp of America, the organization that wishes to toss grandma and grandpa over a cliff.  PRESERVE THE WILDERNESS! Peace~M
