Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the great island of Nantucket! Great to be with you on this glorious morning here on Cape, with a special sunrise dedicated to my friend, and yours, Keith Olbermann, the host of the venerated show, “Countdown, with Keith Olbermann,” only on MSNBC, who was suspended, a shock to me, yesterday, on allegations of campaign contributions that he made to three, count them three, democratic, presumably, candidates who ran in the past mid-term elections concluding just a few days ago. Let us put that into perspective for a moment shall we? FOX NEWS, and more specifically Sean Hannity, a joke if I ever did see one, has donated upwards of 7 million dollars to candidates ranging, in degree of corruption of course, from Michelle Bachman, Sarah Palin, Mike Huckabee, to, you know, the usual suspects, not too mention the campaign corruption (thanks Justice Roberts and the ‘Citizens’ United case of 1-10) inherent within the Republican party, now going by the name of REPUBLICORP, that has used the US CHAMBER of COMMERCE to launder it’s dirty, filthy laundry, filled with foreign money from countries only interested in real results for THEM, stemming from a republican win and thus, the legislation that will be “passed” that will continue to send millions of jobs overseas, all while claiming the mantle of speaking for the “American People”, whom they have defrauded, ripped off and hoodwinked into believing their insane logic–let us look at “who protesteth too much..,” or have we given into the fear of the junior high school bully once again? Keith Olbermann is the man who BUILT MSNBC and to his credit helped me personally get through a tough period of my life. I owe this blog, and the soon to be published book, “Taking Fog to Nantucket,” to this man’s honesty and forthrightness, for it gave me the courage to find my own voice once again and get beyond the vicious acts that were perpetrated against me, allowing me to LIVE and LOVE again, and for that I will always be eternally grateful. My prayer is this, that MSNBC, along with their “parent” GE, realize the folly of their ways, for WE all know that this is a war, a “battle for the hearts and minds of the American People,” and like Nancy Pelosi, whom I will speak of tomorrow and, by the way, really went to bat for US ALL (the true American people), Keith Olbermann reflects that same spirit, a spirit that was at the empirical nucleus of real men like Walter Cronkite, Edward R. Murrow and Keith’s favorite author, James Thurber, whom Keith read religiously every Friday night in honor of his late father…you can’t get more HUMAN than KEITH! GOD’S SPEED SIR! PRESERVE THE WILDERNESS! Peace~M
