On a windy, rain filled day here on Cape Cod, as the remnants of “Tropical storm Danny” is pushing into the area at 6 am, I thought I might offer a picture taken by Roland Marsan, who was a beloved photographer on the Cape and lived here in Osterville, raising his 3 great daughters. He was known for coining “photos on the beach” and truly bringing out the person behind the image that is presented to the world. His ability to allow people to be themselves and relax, shows in his work. Mr. Kennedy had that same ability, albeit on his constituents here in Massachusetts, fellow Senators on both sides of the isle and most of all to his family, whom he guarded with his gentleness, compassion and love. Tens of thousands of people are paying their respects to this “Last Lion of the Senate” in Boston, at the Basilica “Our Lady Perpetual Help and as I write this, and I pray for his family, our family and the fate of this country and the world, as we need the TRUTH be told, with NO FEAR. It is still a beautiful world and it is worth saving, if we only get on the same page and more importantly, the RIGHT page of history. Have a wonderful Saturday. Peace M
