‘…the underlying theme’

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 10:11 am

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the Golden sun laden, calm, deep blue skied, kite sailing island of Nantucket! Great to be with you on this Twelfth Day of March, 2016, a glorious early Saturday morning here on a little sand bar created 11,500 years ago by “The Last Great Ice Age”, for as that ice retreated, it formed the Cape, the aforementioned islands, Long Island and many other points of interest from Bar Harbor’s Cadillac Mountain (and the only North American Fiords, in and around Acadia National Park), to those shifting sands aimlessly moving to and fro across Route 6 at the very tip of this amazing work of art, posing as a creation of man…

To counter “the plan”, it would behoove one to step out into  the wilderness every now and again, for it is there that one will find what one seeks.  In the deepest, darkest, greenest forests, on the dunes of this Cape, there, there, there are the answers…

When one takes the ‘time’ to unplug from all of the man made noise and distraction (all by design; brought to you by take your pick of any number of nasty, greedy “global” corporate conglomerates), swimming upstream lo, above the illusion, discovering the ‘underlying theme’ (credit: rock band Rush and the song “Gilded Cage”), one may finally find that ever elusive love and peace one may have been looking for without even knowing it… Even if you were once like this ‘reporter’, stuck in a mega concrete center, slinging high end corporate ‘employee benefit’ insurance products, lo, stepping out of the insanity, to just clear your head for a moment, real eyes what is important and what is not, yes, that is magic and priceless.

It is all very easy to say and there are many, many roadblocks to your success.  But know this, life is abstract and it is not meant to be lived in a state of indentured servitude.

It, like a nation, ’should sail, and not lie still in the harbor,’

Most in this nation are hypnotized, auto-piloted if you will and would not agree with any this dribble, this ‘theory’ put forth, as Mark Twain once said and holds true to this day, now more than ever, “…it is easier to fool someone than to convince them they have been fooled.”

Lending some credibility? to our 43rd U.S. President George W. Bush, when he infamously stated on national television (leading up to the Iraq War), “…you see, you fool me once, ah, er, shame on you?  But, you, you, you fool me, ah, er, you just can’t get fooled again.”

I rest my case your honor.

Have a super Saturday folks!
