The nearest jetty
Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the Golden sun laden, windy, temperate island of Nantucket! Great to be with you on a bright and beautiful Friday morning ‘down on the docks’ of Historic Hyannis Harbor, on this Twenty-Sixth Day of February, 2016. As always, one is struck by the depth and decoration of this hamlet-by-the-sea, for there is ‘ner a setting on this little sand bar that does not lend a message of rest and relaxation. Food to chew on when selecting a spot to get away from the ‘things of man’ this summer, i.e. many of the insane ‘ideas’ some have been toying with of late… Remembering once again that it is WE that are all collectively experiencing this divinely given LIFE presently…
It’s hard to do though when one has Donald Trump and George Stephanopoulos screaming at you over the bumper-to-bumper airwaves! So if one truly wishes for real relief from the madness, go to that ’sacred‘ I-phone, TV, ‘tablet’, or any other electronic collar, walk to your nearest jetty and throw it into the deep and dark waters, such as the big, bad, blue of Nantucket Sound. If you do not have such vast bodies of water near your particular geographic location, send it to Sea Cape Cod and we will be happy to take care of those chains for ya! No charge. Lo, switching that electronic slave driver to the “OFF” position every now and again, thus removing all of the mindless bravado, bluster and blinder, thereby giving one room and “permission” to once again reengage back into the reality of this LIFE. Because after all, it is you that make up what is real, not the other way around…
