talk, talk, talk…

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 7:02 am

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the clear dawning, cool, calm, cautious island of Nantucket! Good to be with you and yours on this Sixteenth Day of April, 2020, Thursday, broadcasting LIVE from the hallowed shores of Historic Hyannis, home to JFK Memorial, whose voice of reason, empathy and kindness can be heard, like the ocean,

…if you listen really hard.

Trump’s war on science will continue as he pushes to open back up the economy by May 1st.  He has cut funding to the World Health Organization, fundamentally another scape goat this weak, feckless ‘leader’ uses to mask his complete and utter failure to find solutions, as he pushes forth chaos and fear in his reelection bid that will most likely end in his ultimate defeat.

For here we have a man who believes that opening this economy back up can be done without ample testing and tracking, ushering back confidence from the average American worker, who does not want to go back to work if it may mean they could infect their own family.

Trust is earned.

Trump never used to Defense Production Act to the degree FDR did during World War II.  His lack of vision and empathy, seriousness and sobriety are clear for ALL to SEA! The unemployment numbers will rival the Great Depression soon with more employees fearing they will never get those jobs back again.

One thing remains the same however, “Trump’s Trash Talk Happy Hour”, chalk full of useless information, self congratulations, self pity, self riotousness, in a word, SELF.

At no time in our history have we had political rallies, disguised as White House press conferences, forced upon US by an incompetent nincompoop, whose sole goal is ratings, ratings, ratings!  Corporate welfare trumps, if you will excuse the horrible pun and word, common welfare, and that could not be any more evident than small businesses seeking loans from large banks.  If you own a yacht or a private plane, you will be able to attain that loan, for obvious reasons, creating an even bigger Grand Canyon gap between the haves and the have nots.

With all this happy talk about ‘caring for our neighbor’, it is, after all, just that,

Talk is cheap, action is a leap.

“When the going gets tough, the tough get going.”

May the LIGHT of GOOD be with small businesses, and all of the people that work at these vital veins in the body of this great Republic that is crumbling before our very eyes.

Have a great day!
