Sun’s flower

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 10:55 am

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the mostly cloudy, sultry, sexy, sumptuous island of Nantucket! Good to be with you on a sleepy Sunday morning ‘down on the docks’ of ye ‘ole Hyannis Harbor, The Eighteenth Day of September, 2016…, the nautical weather providing folks with a dodge ball game of sun and clouds, heavy thunder on the way, a sixty percent chance of showers later in the afternoon.

“Did you want to talk about the weather or just chit chat?”

“…just chit chat I suppose…”

The schizophrenic nature of American politics, the infamous ‘two party system’, perfect for those who are truly pulling the strings, the right v. left, the ultimate delusional duality, reducing the image of God to a pile of heaping horse hockey, steeped in rote memorization and keenly lacking in Divine Grace, continues on without any signs of changing any time soon.

Who has time to stop and smell the roses?  Admire in quiet reflection the towering Sun Flower?  Let alone sift through the manure thrown out by the mass (drive by) media. WE all live on a treadmill not made of your making.  Saturated in the seduction, sass and sex, technology has taken over the collective consciousness, thus, God and his creation, i.e. the Wilderness and all the creatures great and small therein, go by the way side.

Looking down, hypnotized and hyperventilating, the common man and regular woman, seem to have no chance at seeing the BIG PICTURE.

For, if ‘they’ did, all of ‘man’s’ great systems would fall down like the house of cards they really are,

after all…

What would happen to this great Republic, built on the free market of capitalism?  Would it be replaced by socialism, totalitarianism, authoritarianism?

Oh, it already has.

However, keep that real hope alive, for ‘at the end of the day’, LOVE and LIGHT conquer.
