star struck…

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 7:05 am

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the star filled, wicked cold, windy, wild and weathered island of Nantucket! Great to be with you at this 5:49 a.m. hour on this Seventh Day of January, 2019, Monday, just back from ‘The Milky Way’, stepping outside the old farm house door on this breezy, bitterly cold morning to milk the cows, feed the horses and well, have a cigarette, admiring in awe the mystery above;

millions of twinkling lights in the sky we all call stars…

Are they really billions of ‘light years’ away?

Who knows!

However, I would not take Bill Nye ‘the science guy’’s bought and sold opinion on that epic and quite ancient question.

It has been said that if one has real eyes to SEA,

Heaven is right here on Earth, those stars merely reflections of that fact.

“You be the judge Greg!”

(credit:  “Otter” from the classic 1978 “National Lampoon” hit film “Animal House”, starring, among many others, the late, great John Belushi, who, by this humble reporter’s account, would leave anyone star struck, for his humor and musical talent gave more to this world than any politician, businessman or high priest).

Have a powerful, prosperous, pioneering week ahead folks, keeping in mind what is real;

and what is most certainly not.

PRESERVE THE WILDERNESS! Peace~M
