simple pleasures…

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 4:07 pm

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the now cloudy, cool, collected island of Nantucket! Very good to be with you on a gorgeous late afternoon on the little sand bar that ‘time’ forgot. Only a few hours ago on this Tuesday, October the Fourth, 2016, the sun played a silent, save the wind, game of hide a seek with those giant, white, puffy, majestic cumulus clouds, with that deep, deep blue in the backdrop.  Making for yet another priceless (in the great month of October!), memory; walking along these ancient paths of Hyannis Port and beyond. Where a mere three hundred years ago, a blink of an eye, boats were made of wood, lamps were lit by whale oil, a handshake was as good as a man’s word?, ah, where men were men and women were, oh, sorry, almost went over the edge again on another Donald Trump rant, promising to “stick to the script”, i.e. a nice, happy, civil story of how things should be for people in this world, not bogged down by the whole debt slave ISM this world has devolved into…

Make a note Cheeves, I should plan a trip to that quaint little spot this quack writer keeps squawking about!

Have a pleasant evening!

PRESERVE THE WILDERNESS! Peace~M
