Sandy’s Spooky Wrath…

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 1:49 pm

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the cloudy, misty island of Nantucket! Great to be with you and yours on this ‘all hallows eve’, or Halloween, the 31st day of October, 2012, looking at a Cape and Islands that were spared, for the most part, from Super Storm Sandy’s deep, destructive path across a third of this nation, none so much as the great state of New Jersey, where places such as Hoboken, Atlantic City and all of the Jersey shore, not to mention New York City itself were devastated by this most epic storm that reeked havoc across the board, leaving at least 50 billion dollars in damage, thirty plus dead and having people scratching their heads about what mother nature can truly serve up.  The great President of this nation, Barack Obama, to his, and Governor Chris Christie’s credit, are at this moment surveying the damage across said state, taking in what could possibly wake people up to the very real threat of global warming, as these storms get stronger and the seas continue to rise.  If you want to help, please contact the Red Cross, for it is there where these poor people will receive the TRUE help they most desperately need.  With the election, a most pivotal election scheduled for November the sixth, only six day away it is refreshing to SEA a man who is actually acting like a president, and although it is close, in the immortal words of said Governor Christie, it is “OUR people that really matter in the end.”  So, take care today, tomorrow and beyond, and remember to VOTE on that most important day, for it is the government that will take care of it’s people in the end, not privatized special interests…  God Bless this great country, you, and yours–now and forever.   PRESERVE THE WILDERNESS! Peace~M
