Sail Away (3.0)

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 10:21 am

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the foggy, rainy, balmy, wicked windy island of Nantucket! Great to be with you once again on this Twenty-Fifth Day of February, 2016.  Broadcasting LIVE on a ‘dark and stormy’ Thursday to be sure, however, that gloom cannot keep one down if one only takes the ‘time’ to tour the lonely docks of Historic Hyannis Harbor during the reflective, quiet down time winter offers on this little sand bar created 11,500 years ago ‘by the Last Great Age’…

A proven theory gifted as one slowly strolls past the lonely shell fish boats and ferries, south down Ocean Street and those ancient weathered wooden planks, ‘exiting left’ for a moment within the haunted and hallowed open spaces of the Kennedy Memorial. Through the bend of Kalmus and the spacious beach sand; the tiny green and blue glass she so holds dear, the precious, sacred, and holy waters that support, feed, lo Love the Greater Black Back Seagull, the Lesser Tern (left & right), the Marsh Hawk, the Piping Plover, the Sanderling and the Osprey, not the mention Bufflehead who only shows up during these cold, poetic, mystical, peaceful months!

Eventually the journey leads to a little neighborhood called Hyannis Port. An understated, rather famous port that strongly whispers these days, a gathering crescendo echoing across Nantucket Sound, culminating into a thunderous clap.  A startling wake up call begging US ALL to care for one another like never before, and a reminder to get out there and smell them roses while you still can!

Remembering Roses–like Love buried deep in a frozen white blanket–still and always will hold the promise of eternal spring and all of the JOY therein…

Live by your heart. Not your “brain”, a ‘computer’ that has beenwashedby unclean hands, thus corrupted therein.  Garbage in, garbage out!

Love, Love, Love

It’s the only intelligence.
