“Roses are red…”

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 3:14 pm

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the golden sun laden, cool, breezy, beautiful, beloved island of Nantucket! Great to be with you on this sunny Valentine’s Day; Wednesday, The Fourteenth Day of February, 2018. The weather just broke for this ‘blog’ entry, so to all who read this ‘message in a bottle’, or ‘post card from the edge’, I humbly wish you and yours a romantic day; full of warmth and kindness, love and joy. It seems that giving those essential gifts these days is hard for many,

but certainly not all…

There are many signs that the world is changing as some of it’s citizenry become more self aware. Aware, conscious of what they are thinking about, recognizing the patterns of thought and just how damaging negative, dark, resentful thoughts can be over the long haul.  For they hurt more the person who is thinking them than the person to whom those thought are directed towards. Love is truly the only ‘thing’ that is REAL. All the rest is merely a side show.  The lower spectrum of ‘thought’ or feelings, such as revenge, hate, despair, etcetera, disappear in the light of the higher realms of the human experience, such as love, joy, compassion, empathy, forgiveness and kindness. The more one is in tune with how one feels, thinks and behaves, the more one wants to love, give and forgive. For that virtuous cycle only gets stronger with some simple maintenance;

so go out and tell someone you love ‘em!

You’ll be happy you did!
