Prince Spaghetti Day

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 9:45 am

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the sunny, cool, crisp and quite delightful island of Nantucket! Great to be with you and yours on this beautiful early Autumn morning, coming to you LIVE from the Hyannis/Hyannis Port Waterfront(s).  It is a seasonal Wednesday, September the 23rd, 2015, and here’s hoping your day is going well, improving as you wander ‘above deck’ , taking in one of the many Jewels scattered about this little sand bar created 11,500 years ago by ‘The Last Great Ice Age’; indeed, the green, green, green marshes adorning “Barrier Beach” in the hamlet of Hyannis Port, offer up testimony that is undeniable.  Loved by many, none so much as the Kennedy Family, who stood for something for more than “me, mine and MORE”…

Pope Francis will be busy today with law makers and lunches, Masses and Miracles, with the emphasis on the latter.  Washington D.C. is all a buzz at this hour, with Papal energy running rough shod over the normal “at the end of the day’ kind of day observers normally witness from the people who apparently run things in this country.  Run them indeed.

The Pope will be focused on solutions that must be put into action soon, lo they fall victim to the truism–‘Faith without works is dead.’

Homelessness in this very, very wealthy nation is a black eye on our society as a whole and proves to the rest of the world that the United States is more interested in the affairs of the few, while turning that black, bruised, bloody and blind eye to the desperate needs of a growing number of men, women and children in America today.  Scoffing and spitting at the plight of the poorest of the poor…

Jesus said many moons ago man must lovingly care for ‘the least of us’, for, and he put it quite clearly, it is how one treats that ‘least of US’ that will determine one’s ultimate fate after shaking this mortal coil.  Discovering that one has no ‘enemies’, while still alive is quite rewarding, thus, free from resentments, anger, hate and all of the other lesser angels of our nature, opting rather for the MIRACLE that is LOVE.,  For only Love will his heart free.   Free forever.

Food for thought on Prince Spaghetti Day!

Have a great DAY!
