Oyster Catcher 2.0

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the peaceful, sunny, seasonable island of Nantucket! Great to be with you on this Monday morning, the thirteenth day of February, 2012, another stellar day on Cape, with temperatures reaching 41 degrees, with calm seas, winds and plenty of sunshine…  Yes sir, it is another week of political brinksmanship and plutocratic horse racing, as the clear choice of austerity versus progress is laid out for all 311 million American voters to sea, although, that is not 100 percent accurate, for WE all know that only a few of US “elite media types” with our Ivy League educations, complete with all of that ‘fancy book learnin’ (credit the comedian Sarah, “mamma Grizzly”, Palin, half governor of the great state of Alaska), have only a small market share of the audience, while over half the country’s population watches FOX “NEWS”, the great propaganda machine that believes and practices in the well known theory, and I’ll let you figure out whom I speak of here, that, “…I know that I can turn a triangle into a square if I just repeat it often enough”.  That is the rub here folks, for it is what makes that engine of exclusion and thievery thrive, or, as was stated so well in the film, “The Usual Suspects”, when the great Kevin Spacey stated, “…the greatest trick the Devil ever played was convincing mankind that he didn’t exist, then poof, just like that, he was gone.” Have a nice day folks keeping in mind that WE all have a stake in this country, and your individual voice is more powerful than you can possibly imagine. PRESERVE THE WILDERNESS! Peace~M
