Orange Light
Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the great island of Nantucket! Great to be with you on this Thursday morning, the 4th day of November, 2010, as we are experiencing some foul weather here in New England, after some spectacular weather the past few days, evidenced by the brilliant orange, red and yellow colors of the fall season here on little Cape Cod, Massachusetts–Osterville to be specific. As was said on Keith Olbermann’s show, “Countdown, with Keith Olbermann”, airing every week night at 8 and 11 p.m., only on MSNBC, by one of his fans of the “twitter”, and I am paraphrasing here, “Buck up America, just because we now have a man who reflects the color ‘orange’ as the new Speaker of the House, do not fret, you can always make orangeaid out of oranges…” Yes, “here’s the thing”… (an all absorbing truth statement, along the lines of the old Smith Barney commercials where everyone wants to hear what old Smith and/or Barney have to say, usually emanating from the far northern FOX NEWS lands), how many ‘tea partiers’ are you going to get a straight answer from? Utilizing the REAL and ONLY FACTS available to us feeble human beings, unless of course, you are living in a parallel universe, unknown to the many of us who have not imbibed in the “crazy lemonade”, brought to you by, Kool Aid, a wholly owned subsidiary of Koch Industries, bringing you 596 chemicals to your ‘homestead’ 24/7, 365 days a year, ‘the gift that keeps on giving the whole year long’ (credit Randy Quaid and the classic film by National Lampoon, “Christmas Vacation”), and provided to you by the hypnotized, hypocritical idiots, now in power, following the ‘old European lockstep’ of the insane backwards motion of yesterday, we are left with quite a situation in Washington D.C., for how is this country going to move FORWARD if we continue to listen to “men” such as Mitch, “the mouse”, McConnell (R-KY), who is STILL the minority leader in the US SENATE, when he says and will repeat today at the prestigious Heritage Club, “our number one goal is to make sure that Obama is only a one term President…” Is that speaking for the “American People” Mr. Boehner? Is it really? There is only so much that this country can do before we lose to our competitors forever, such as China, India, Brazil, Germany, Russia and most of the European nations in the way of jobs, overall quality of life for our citizens and the health of our economy all while we endure the backstabbing provided by “leaders” such as the mouse and the man who would be speaker and the maker of “orangeaid” John Boehner… The “American People” would like an HONEST answer from you, sir, and your followers, for you have a hand in this now and your obstructionism will prove that you have NO plan to get us out of what one of your former colleagues and his administration did to our blessed country. President Barrack Obama will gain success in these bleak times for this reason alone, “the American People are not stupid, they have just been drinking too much of the orange Kool Aid…” Have a nice day everybody!
