“One fine day”

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the Golden sun laden, cool, breezy, lo, darn near perfect island of Nantucket! It is great to be with you on this Fourteenth Day of November, 2015, another Saturday morning here at the Hyannis/Hyannis Port Waterfront(s); enjoying the same image one may SEA ‘above deck’ presently.  Indeed, this ‘picture’ is the very one this ‘humble’ reporter is admiring outside of his window at this very moment in ‘time’…

Hope you and yours are having a better week end than our friends in France, Paris in particular.  The vicious killing group known as ISIL is wreaking havoc once again in that fabled, historic, romantic city of LIGHTS.

127 people have already lost their lives in these most recent attacks over the course of the past few days, with a merciless, cowardice on display for all the world to witness, digest and come up with a way to combat ‘it’.

The ‘it’ being hate, violence and blind intolerance to all who oppose their rise to ‘religious’ power, a religion based upon no real ideology.  Certainly not one that has anything to do with the Koran or the Muslim Faith as a whole.  ISIL is a cancer that has spread to disenfranchised countries all over the globe, e.g. Syria, Libya, Egypt, Iraq, Afghanistan and many other locales, and whatever the culprit is, i.e. brutal dictators like Syria’s head snake Assad, the threat, unlike the lie that led up to the folly of the Iraq war beginning in 2003, must be addressed by all nation’s leaders as well as her peoples.

Young, under-educated and unloved people are drawn to that which offers some kind of ‘brotherhood’, even if that means killing innocent women, men and children who don’t fit in with a 4th Century ’sharia’ law that is so far out of whack it would take a group of Wall Street derivative wiz kids to figure it all out and what it is their so called ‘demands’ really translate to ‘at the end of the day’…

May good Lord be with OUR friends in France today and tomorrow, and may this upcoming debate by the GOP here in the US political bonanza offer up some real solutions facing not only this country, but the now ‘global corporate village’ WE all live in now;  Fresh solutions, juxtaposed to those canned by Del Monte Fruit Company.

Just remember this, it is still “One Fine Day” (credit: a rare feel good film, circa 1996; starring Michelle Pfeiffer and George Clooney), out there in this big, blue, beautiful world–strive to be happy!

Have a grand weekend everybody and may the Force be with YOU!

PRESERVE THE WILDERNESS! Peace~M
