Over the decades, the longest running show on ‘TV’;, a cartoon beginning in 1989, is still the ‘Simpsons’. This seemingly harmless cartoon has uncannily predicted many national and world events, most recently depicting the 2020 U.S (s)election debacle.
Flash forward to January 2021 in an episode featuring large robots sporting “Homeland Security” emblems on their shiny, well armed bodies, complete chaos all around, with bombed out buildings, fires raging, people with masks being herded about, yes, thank God we (s)elected that senile old man to ‘run things’ in a Republic, now a third world colony,
that was bought and sold long ago…
So turn off that black mirror and take long, penetrating hike in nature, perhaps write a letter, the old fashioned way, with pen and paper, to a friend you have not seen in a very long ‘time’…, lean into the light, be still, listen to that ‘other voice’, the quiet and calm one, the gentle and loving sound of one’s soul, take soothing, deep breaths, taking in that clean air, that clean oxygen, breathing in that salty morning air, as a golden sun rises above the mighty Atlantic Ocean.
