Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the placid, balmy, sunny island of Nantucket! Great to be with you on this Sunday morning, the first day of January, 2012, HAPPY NEW YEAR!! It is still very early on this little sand bar created 11,500 years ago by the Last Great Ice Age, as the sun begins to make it’s presence felt on the waters of Cotuit Bay, ‘where the ocean meets the wood’, dimming the stars that were just out in full force only moments ago, putting on quite a light show as the stillness and peace of the night that just passed ushered in the New Year without fanfare or noise, only silent whispers of the newly born year and the hopes and dreams that are to come. May this year bring you and yours the peace, luck, love and wisdom you truly deserve, for we are all God’s children and the best thing we can do is simply love one another. Happy New Year to ALL.
