Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the great island of Nantucket! Great to be with ya’ll, sorry Sarah, on this Wednesday afternoon on little old Cape Cod. As described from above, the image you see is of myself, coming back from a day on the “far away island”, better known as Nantucket. I bring that picture to you for one reason and one reason only…my publisher and dear friend, Helen Compton, of Artship Publishing here on Cape Cod, passed away a few days ago, as I just found out yesterday, and, I dedicate this “blog” to her--GOD SPEED HELEN! The book, “Taking Fog to Nantucket”, will come out in March, however, yet it will be less of a book because of her passing. I bring this up, not to “plug” my book, rather, to tell “ya’ll” JUST how important this LIFE really IS. And, moreover, to live each and every moment as if it were your last, for, in doing so, you WILL discover, that is what LIVING truly IS. That is what every living animal on this planet does everyday. THE moment is NOW, embrace it and don’t let anyone else tell you “how you should FEEL.” For, as the Bishop in the classic film “Caddyshack”, circa 1979, stated, “It’s none of their damn business anyway.” Have a great day and KEEP THE FAITH through KNOWLEDGE. PRESERVE THE WILDERNESS! Peace~M
