Morning has broken

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 9:01 am

John Wayne said many moon ago that the new day begins one second after midnight…Greetings from Cape Cod and the Islands!  I hope you are well wherever you may be.  Dawn is a unique experience, as one realizes possibilities that may not have been recognized before.  The monumental issue of HEALTH CARE in the United States of America is one of those possibilities…unfortunately, and I quote one of the snakes in the insurance cartel, “we won”, as he spoke of the death of the “public option” that had become so watered down it tasted more like water than actual H2O.  Millions will suffer because of corporate greed and the politicians, much like P. Pilate himself, have sealed their own fate.  One must ponder the simple question, “for whom does the bell toll?”  In the end, with millions of constituents and their families dying because of the fact that say, Joe Lieberman (I, CT) CHOSE the money these cartels offered him over his own people, symbolizes the entire ugly process that has effectively destroyed democracy in the United States of America.  If you don’t believe me, look at some numbers…in March of 2009, President Obama met with “leaders” in the insurance industry at the White House.  At that time, Cigna, one of the big insurance companies, had a stock price that was going south, as the industry knew that their profit margin may be affected by new policy, “change we can believe in”…..since that time, Cigna’s stock has risen 300 percent.  I may not be a mathematician, but numbers don’t lie.  The insurance cartel and Wall Street are so closely knit that it is nearly impossible to distinguish the two…profit over people, profit over people, PROFIT OVER PEOPLE.  Perhaps someday they will learn.  Have a wonderful Monday!  Peace~ M
