Moment’s Thunder on a Mountain
Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the wonderfully sunny, still cool, windy, blue skied and popping with flowers of every kind, ’specially them Daffodils, island of Nantucket! This “broadcast” is coming to you LIVE from ‘down on the docks’ of historic Hyannis Harbor, on a quiet, solemn, reflective Sunday morning, The Twenty-Fourth Day of April, 2016. If you anything like this reporter, this is the kind of day where one gets out there! in this ocean soaked wilderness, allowing one to get completely lost in the wonder of what this little sand bar really offers. It offers a profound relief from all this man made stress via the stunning, seemingly endless golden hued rolling dunes, the many flying seagull, Osprey, Cardinal ‘ore head, the wandering ships in the misty fog, Nantucket’s Sound, protecting the shore from the mighty Atlantic, sometimes whipping Chatham to Provincetown with a wicked Nor’easter. The peace of the bays, the inlets, the rivers, the walks, the talks, the Love; lo, this magic land brings back the child in everyone…, if even for that brief moment… For after all, a collection of moments is really all this thing called “Life” is…
“…at the end of the day!”
A brief, momentary thought like a lightening bolt from Heaven crashing down a steep, mighty mountain face; ushering in the infinite expansion of cosmic consciousness that WE are ALL part of.
Not apart from.
Have a blessed Sunday folks!
PRESERVE THE WILDERNESS! Peace~M
