“Michael’s” fury…

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 8:42 am

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the sultry, saucy, sassy, sexy island of Nantucket! Great to be with you on this Thursday, The Eleventh Day of October, 2018, ‘reporting’ LIVE from historic, hip, and quite quaint Centerville, awaiting the remnants of a monster hurricane named “Michael”; whose fury has ravaged the panhandle of Florida with punishing winds, record storm urge and heavy rains that are now on their way up through the Carolina’s and up towards ye ‘ole isle of Nantucket, where this raging ocean’s washing machine will drop at least six inches of rain;

in the next twenty-four hours…

Sea Cape Cod wishes to offer our deepest apologies to David Muir, anchor of ABC’s “World News Tonight”, you know, for ever calling out the whole fake news thing and all.  And even though facts are facts about all that, this hurricane was no joke,

or illusion.

Reporting LIVE from Panama City yesterday morning at this time, Muir on the scene for real, no green screen here baby, with meteorologist Ginger Zee witnessing a house blowing by her as if she were in a movie scene from “The Wizard of Oz”, playing Dorothy…

Perhaps praying to GOD that the sliding glass door to her hotel room was not about to shatter during her LIVE broadcast in the same hotel whose roof came down on a couple of SUV’s under the car port of the only shelter in town…

Again,  high marks to the crew, anchor, weather pros, and company for bringing that extraordinary coverage last night on ABC’s World News Tonight…

Well done!

“Michael” is third strongest (based on estimated barometric pressure readings, of 919 millibars by ;the U.S. Air Force and NOAA),  recorded hurricane in U.S. history, with “Camille” of 1969 and “The Labor Day Hurricane” of 1035 being moire powerful; Although, it is too early to SEA how destructive this ‘blow’ will turn out to be…

In 1992 “Andrew”  nailed the east coast of this state, causing extensive damage to Homestead, Florida… However, “Michael’s” punch that much more powerful, with even stronger winds/low pressure than Hurricane Katrina that devastated New Orleans in 2005.

Will U.S. President Donald J. Trump pull the plug on H.A.A.R.P.?

Gee, I sure hope so Mr. President!

God’s speed to all affected by this power house ‘washing machine’!

Bee safe America!
