“message in a bottle” (3.0)

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 9:35 am

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the frozen sun laden, blue skied, bone chilling island of Nantucket! Great to be with you and yours on this bright, gorgeous Valentine’s Day morning, a Sunday, The Fourteenth Day of February, 2016.  Just returned from ‘down on the docks’ of Historic Hyannis Harbor, well before sunrise, literally, procuring a few “photos” for later consumption by you, the reader of this humble ‘message in a bottle’ as it were, or is…

As cold as it is this morning–sub zero–perhaps, just perhaps there is still some warmth in the hearts of man, living together along this plane of dimensional existential existence, lo, one we all awkwardly and collectively inhabit; ‘at this juncture’… For on this day of barren bleakness defining winter’s depth, many may find Cupid’s arrow piercing what was once a hardened heart. A heart weary of war and pain, fear and terror, woe and worn of conspiracy and conceit.  A heart tired of “self” service.  One yearning to align itself with what it was designed to achieve: LOVE unconditionally.

When one loves that way, everything changes.  When one loses ’self’, paradoxically one is found, and thus gains ALL.

“Your most precious, valued possessions and your greatest powers are invisible and intangible.  No one can take them.  You, and you alone, can give them.  You will receive abundance for your giving.”

Clement Stone (1902-2002)

“If you require love, try to realize that the only way to get love is by giving it, that the more you give the more you will get, and the only way you can give it is to fill yourself up with it, until you become a magnet.”

Charles Haanel (1866-1949)

LOVE

“Your own soul is nourished when you are kind; it is destroyed when you are cruel.”

King Solomon

(circa 10th Century BC; Biblical King of Israel)

“Love one another”

PRESERVE THE WILDERNESS! Peace~M
