Merry Corporate Christmas!
Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the damp, mild, windy, and and soon to be quite rainy island of Nantucket! Great to be back with you on this Winter Solstice, occurring around five p.m. eastern on this Twenty-First day of December, 2018…, a Friday before Christmas on this coming Tuesday and by all accounts, ‘The Grinch’ is up to his normal mischief.
Fear not children from 1 to 92, indeed, the spirit of Dr. Seuss lives on in the hearts and minds of what this season represents, as the Grinch’s heart grew ten times that fabled year!
LOVE
Love for one’s fellow man, the animals and plants that share this beautiful, mighty, mysterious, and most powerful Earth we all share for that brief moment in “Thyme”…
Sea Cape Cod has made it’s way back from “Land’s End”, or it’s beginning, the great village of Provincetown, where he was treated well and felt the magic, mystery, lore and love therein….
Thanks to all who were a part of that great month long experiment, Erik, Eric, Raphael, all the moms, uncles, cousins, and crew; thank you for that great Thanksgiving. It will never be forgotten…
Moreover, I thank the bike trails of the fabled “Provincelands”, the first true ‘commons’ in this country, now incorporated into “Cape Cod Cod National Sea Shore”, circa1961, which this humble reporter highly recommends… Indeed, exploring the many, inexplicable bike paths in the months of late October and all of November. No people, or distractions to take from the moment in ‘time’ as one rests on an ancient dune out in the middle of the most eastern point in America… Race Point Light a good mile hike out onto a beach that stares out into the abyss of the Atlantic. Haunting indeed… Humbling as well…
Talk about sky lighting color of God’s green earth…
Lo,next to the Boston Common, the first public common many centuries ago, establishing the Capitol on Beacon Street atop Beacon Hill, I wish you to all a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy ‘Festivis’, Season’s greetings and by gum just a great New Year to come!
Sea Cape Cod will be back with you soon, back here at her ‘global’ headquarters in the great hub of Hyannis, shall be back in the saddle, God Willing!
Almost just as historic, but, as with all these wonderful Cape towns and Islands,
…like the good girls and boys awaiting Santa;
they all have their own quite unique personalities…
p.s. If you want to make a worthy donation, send it to the Provincetown Police Dept.
….well under way with their annual children’s toy drive!
Ho! Ho! Ho!
Have a rockin’ day at SEA sir!
PRESERVE THE WILDERNESS! Peace~M
