Mechanical Groundhog Day!
Greetings once again from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the blue, brilliant, balmy island of Nantucket! Great to be back with you on this last day of January, 2020, a gorgeous Friday afternoon, the ‘eve’ of the ‘eve’ to the big game on “Ground Hog Day”, February, The Second, 2020. Using the word ’second’ as this marks the 54th Super Bowl in this Nations’ grand love for that truly American game of NFL Football.
It happens to fall on said ‘Ground Hog Day’ and it seems PETA is all up in arms about ye ‘ole ground hog who will not be disturbed, nor sir, he has been replaced by a mechanic version of himself, much like humanity at large.
“Oh, to be a real ground hog once again!”
“Will he SEA his mechanical shadow?”
