Marsh Hawk on Dowses

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 8:25 am

Flying low across the frozen tundra of Dowses Beach, this resident of Cape Cod, the Marsh Hawk, displays his acrobatic maneuvers while searching for breakfast.  On this January morning, I ventured out before the sun rose to my favorite place on planet earth to take in all that nature has to offer…and it offers a lot.  Voltaire, the famous French philosopher once wrote, “God plays to an audience that is too afraid to laugh.”  How true.  But as we watch the universe unfold, as it should, we should also be reminded of what another author, “unknown”, once said as well…”you are no less than the trees or the stars, you have a right to be here, and even with all of it’s sham drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world…strive to be happy!”  Have a wonderful Tuesday.  Peace~ M
