Alone on a beach somewhere on the Atlantic, a fellow human being enjoys the day with her best friend. The ice is slowly melting and the birds are chirping, spring is almost here. The sands of Dowses fill the air with joy and peace as I hear the gentle waves caressing the shore. Faith Hill off in the distance gives rise to a new day, one of hope and knowing that the salt of the water is made the same of man and as we renew our faith in all walks of life, we fill our bliss again. Clearing out the old and bringing in the new. Not to dismantle the entire structure, but to look at each individual brick, replacing the ones that are no longer serving any purpose. The needs of our best friends’ are few. Taking a few minutes alone with nature will bring you back and allow remembrance, good and bad, replacing the old bricks with healthier ones of love and forgiveness, freeing the soul and renewing it simultaneously. Peace M
