Magic!
Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the warm, sunny, gorgeous island of Nantucket! Great to be with you on this Friday afternoon, the 31st day of May, 2013, a very summer like day, as opposed to the cool spring we have thus experienced, right here in the hub of it all on this little sand bar created 11,500 years ago by the Last Great Ice Age–Cape Cod’s own Hyannis, adjacent, of course to Hyannis Port, where the great Kennedy family lived and thrived, helping a nation grow and prosper as best they could. Hope you all had a nice Memorial Day week end, for the Figawi sail boat race that goes over to the fair island of aforementioned Nantucket every year at this ‘time’, went off without a hint of fear, save the weather that day, as it was cold and blustery, I’m not sure who won, but in the end, does it really matter? Not much to add else at present, save this. I pray you all have an opportunity to “unplug” your televisions, Ipads, and constant noise of the world this summer and just enjoy the simple pleasure of being alive, for I can tell you from real experience, it will, even if for one day, it will change your life forever. My summer reading list will be my topic for the next few rounds, so here is my first pick, “The POWER of NOW”, by Eckart Tolley, a book that may be hard to fathom… but it is as true as rain.
