Little Blue Rock…

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 9:40 am

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the misty, soon to be sunny island of Nantucket! Great to be with you on this sixth day of August, 2012, another day in paradise, so the speak, on this little sand bar created 11,500 years ago by the Last Great Ice Age.   Overnight, we saw some more rain, I only wished the rest of this country experienced the same… for the nation is still in the grip of drought that has brought pain and suffering to many, although that FACT, is rarely put on those corporate owned ‘airwaves’.   My thanks this morning to 97.7 ACK, FM, once again, and the great DJ “Sandy”, the true island radio station of Nantucket, please Google, who brought on Sarah Oktay, professor from the University of Massachusetts, Boston, school of Marine Sciences, Nantucket field station–bringing a bit of LIGHT to OUR environment on that ‘far away island’ of Nantucket, a microcosm of the place WE all live, despite contrary options, right here on planet earth.  I am reminded of a passage in “The Course in Miracles”, where it was written, (page 404, IV. ‘the fear to look within’), that “The Holy Spirit will never teach you that you are sinful.  Errors He will correct, but this makes no one fearful.” Be strong my friends of this beautiful blue rock WE all call home, planet earth.  For this is only a stepping stone to a better place, a place where my grandmother now resides, beyond this plane, as well as Jack Kennedy and his wonderful family who did more for this nation than some who claim, like a game show host, to ‘create’ 12 million jobs.  Give me a break. Have a great week folks and God Bless this great nation, as well as every nation on this little blue rock I call earth, and so, I ‘think’, you do as well.   PRESERVE THE WILDERNESS! Peace~M
