Keep the path lit!

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 8:53 am

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the once again golden sun laden, calm, seasonally cool, sweet and sexy island of Nantucket! Great to be with you on this Twenty-Fourth Day of April, 2017; Monday morning ‘down on the docks’ of ye ‘ole Hyannis Harbor once again!  A peaceful scene as this once marshy wilderness meets the world en masse. People will be traveling on those “Planes, Trains and Automobiles” again from place unknown, save the transparency of their license plates, reading off states as far as Alaska, Alabama, Arkansas?  German imports raging up and down Pleasant Street on the way to the fast ferry Iyanough, an elegant, yar vessel transporting one to that aforementioned ‘Far Away Island’ of Nantucket; a place that should be experienced at least once by all who have adventure, romanticism, and a deep love for the ocean in their blood.

If one recalls the film title above, circa 1987, starring the late, great John Candy and very much alive and still “wild and crazy” Steve Martin, one may remember it was the story of a rather cold, cynical Ad guy who meets a ’shower curtain rings’ salesman whose soul was the polar opposite of cold, for he was warm, even though he had nothing, while the executive seemingly ‘had’ everything; the haves and have nots in this world proving that ‘money don’t buy you love’… Perhaps, just perhaps, one might get a lesson out of that. Who knows?

Truth, after all, is stranger than fiction.

It is nice to be important. But, it’s more important to be NICE.

LOVE conquers ALL!

Have a good one y’all!
