“…it’s a problem of motivation.”
Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the golden sun dripped, gentle breezed, bluest skied, powerfully perfect island of Nantucket! Great to be with you on this amazing Saturday morning, The Twenty-First Day of May, 2016, coming to LIVE ‘down on the docks’ as it were, here along the calm, peaceful, serene waters of wonderful and historic Hyannis Harbor. Where it is said that reason, love and compassion came back to life one day. Lo, a sudden awakening came to this land WE call America! Waking all, suddenly, to what the heck fire has been going on for say, the past sixty years…
“…yeah, did you get that memo?”
(credit: the classic 1999 film, “Office Space”; starring, among many others, Ron Livingston, Jennifer Aniston and Gary, “…I’m gonna have ask you to come in on Sunday too”, Cole, playing the corporate ‘CEO’ devilish boss “Bill Lumbergh”)
“…thanks a bunch Peter!”
Here’s another worthy quote, provided for your reading pleasure, hilariously emanating from the perfectly played “Milton” (Stephen Root); an angry, disturbed and quite disgruntled employee. Under attack this poor soul was continuously downsized in every which way, indeed, dehumanized and deflated, humiliated, henpecked and harassed, heckled, horrified and harangued, via his menacing, sadistic and coldly cruel ‘boss’, who found great pleasure in forcing the slave, I mean employee into smaller and smaller cubicles, taking his favorite red stapler for the purpose of torture and torment, until he was finally housed in the basement of a cold, grey, soulless corporate structure, dreaded by many, escaped by few…
Yes, in that very funny film about the ‘global’, wonderful, warm and wanting “corporate world” was this gem, enjoy!
“…and I said, I don’t care if they lay me off either, because I told, I told Bill if they move my desk one more time, then then I’m quitting, I’m going to quit. And I told Don too, because they moved my desk four times already this year, and I used to be over by the window, and I could see squirrels, and were merry, but then, they switched from the Swingline to the Boston stapler, but I kept my Swingline stapler because it didn’t bind up as much, and I kept the staples for the Swingline and it’s not okay because if they take my stapler then…”
Have a super Saturday folks!
PRESERVE THE WILDERNESS! Peace~M
