Irish Prayer

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 12:49 pm

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the sunny (once again), beautiful, crisp island of Nantucket! It is very good to be with you on this Sunday afternoon, this 27th day of September, 2015, another day sent from Heaven above, bountiful sunshine, and perfect temperatures all week along the East Coast; Fall weather never being sweeter.

Pope Francis made quite an impression on the American citizenry, along with many other ‘folk’ out there in this sometimes misguided, vastly diverse, strong and wealthy nation.   Here’s hoping at least some of that Divine Light got through, future generations are counting on it.

Per his request, Sea Cape Cod will send off the Pope as he jets back to Rome with a simple Irish prayer.  We don’t have any Gold, Frankincense or Myrrh, at least not yet, but we thank you for coming to our shores and brightening up OUR LIVES!

“May the road rise up to meet you.  May the wind be always at your back.  May the sun shine warm upon your face.  May the rains fall soft upon your fields and until WE meet again, May the LORD hold you in the palm of HIS HAND.”
