Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the great island of Nantucket! Great to be with you on this, the day after, the thirtieth year anniversary of John Lennon’s death. I put up the word “IMAGINE” for one reason, and one reason only, and that being for some of US to, perhaps, listen to the words of that song and think about it’s real meaning, for as we argue amongst ourselves about the “situation” in the United States of America, it may be important to remember just how much a Brit like John LOVED this great nation, something that he did not have as a child, as his mother was run down by an off duty police officer when he was just a lad…that police officer was drunk at the time. “How is it that I can give LOVE, when it is something I’ve never felt?”… To quote a man who said that publicly when conducting an interview after the recording of one of his signature songs, “Love, Love me do, you know I love you, so please, please, LOVE ME DO….” We ALL LOVE YOU JOHN and KNOW, in our heart of hearts, that YOU are watching down on us poor humans, who, like you once were, do not know how to LOVE…send us that LIGHT and pray for those who, as Jesus said himself, as he was dying on the cross, “FORGIVE THEM, they know NOT what they do…” Many blessings to you and yours. PRESERVE THE WILDERNESS! Peace~M
