Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the great island of Nantucket! Great to be with you on this Friday morning, the third day of December, 2010, coming to you live from Hyannisport, well, Osterville really, only five miles due west of that fabled town you see pictured above you…the home to some people who really gave and cared about said, ad nauseum, “The American People”. It is a beautiful day here on the Cape and I hope you and yours are warm and safe wherever you may be waking up this a.m… I have taken a break from the amercement into our “political system” in Washington D.C., for it is as clear as the sun above that the republican party and it’s most famous phrase, in a word, “NO”, does not care about the “American People”, as we inch our way to the most Holy day of the year for Christians all over the world–Christmas. You see, REPUBLICORP, in it’s infinite wisdom, seems to think it’s OK to speak to “fiscal responsibility” when dealing with poor people who can’t buy a job, through no fault of their own, while, at the same time, are demanding that our government extend the BUSH era tax cuts of 2001 and 2003, so that all of the people who take a much larger piece of the collective “American Pie” can feel less “insecure” about their investments in homes on Maui–thus, in doing so, prove their hypocrisy beyond a shadow of a doubt, for they have no intentions of paying for that tax break, to the tune of 700 billion dollars borrowed from China and the like, paying 40 cents on every dollar we borrow in interest payments alone, while they laugh at the plight of their fellow Americans. Your a mean one Mr. McConnell, or should we just refer to you under your real name, “the mouse”, for you, above all people, should be the one to tell the “American People” that you speak for so often, that “the rat race is over, the rats won.” Have a wonderful day folks and remember, one person, one voice, still equals one VOTE! PRESERVE THE WILDERNESS! Peace~M
