Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the warm and water logged island of Nantucket! Thanks for tuning into Sea Cape Cod on this 17th day of November, 2014, another wet one here at the Hyannis/Hyannis Port Waterfront, as temperatures are expected to plummet over the next 24 hours, leaving this little sand bar frozen again, just like it was 11,500 years ago by the “Last Great Ice Age…”.
This should be an interesting week, with U.S. President, Barack Obama, returning last night from a fruitful swing across the great East–achieving historic agreements on the reduction of greenhouse emissions by both the U.S. and China, the world’s two largest emitters of the carbon dioxide, methane and other gasses that trap the sun’s heat in our atmosphere, heating it, thus melting the ice, oh hell, if you don’t get it by now…
I suppose this whole ‘climate hoax’ is good for Ostriches who live in a land locked state of denial, such as in the great state of Oklahoma.
Say it with me Senator (and newly elected Chairman of the U.S. Senate’s ‘Environment and Public Works Committee’, yikes!) Jim, “…’cause dag nabbit, God is still ‘up’ there!”, Inhofe–of that said grand state where many still believe the earth is flat, Jesus likes Wonder Bread and that the Earth was created 6,000 years ago with humans and dinosaurs playing, what softball together? … apparently a time well before (math never being one of Inhofe’s strong points) this so called “Last Great Ice Age” you filthy, hippy, liberal, tree huggin’, left wing-nut bloggers out there keep talking about; with all of your over the top satirical views regarding this puppet like, God fearing ‘not your grandpa’s GOP, no sir!–that’s right say it with me Inhofe, you hate them rivers, them lakes, them estuaries, them reservoirs, you hate ‘em all!
That being water and them environmentalists who wish to save those bodies from your ever present representations of GREED! It is a bloody shame what you and your Republican friends plan to do with what is left of not only the natural bodies of water we can all see, moreover, the ground water that is being played with via this insane Keystone XL Pipeline that will make a boat load of money (estimates of upwards of 100 billion!) for the Koch Brothers’ (huge stake in a company located not in the U.S., but in Alberta, Canada), but will do nothing for this nations’ “energy independence”, or “lowering gas prices”, I mean really, what the hell are you talking about here?
We all live (you don’t live in a bubble sir!) in a GLOBAL economy now, and you know just as well as I do that ALL of this dirty, toxic, highly carbon intensive crude tar sands oil–running rough shod right up the middle with a bloody pipeline right across the VITAL Ogallala Aquifer (Nebraska mostly impacted, hence the law suit pending in that great state)–will be sold to the highest bidder. A means of transport of said dirty oil just so another GLOBAL plutocrat can ‘make a buck’ and ‘create’ perhaps 40 full time jobs, several thousand during a two year period while the ‘dang fence, I mean pipeline is being built. Why are oil and gas jobs so sacred? What’s wrong with Solar jobs? Are they less American Senator? Do they pay like we pay women in this country, 77 cents on the dollar? Senator? And what about that danger to our soon to be incrediblby important water sources? What happens when creating a dangerous pipeline that could leak, and will eventually? What happens if it gushes out onto said Aquifer? Oh, your ‘donor’ doesn’t care, as he eats out?

Your big SCAM will be revealed for what it truly IS; even though you have duped most of ‘the American People’ into thinking, ‘…hey, yeah, that Keystone pipeline, yeah, that sounds like a great idea man, you say it will create 42,000 jobs and lower gas prices? Hell yeah! USA! USA! USA!”.
Of course it does none of that Tony and the only person(s) besides Charles Koch and his brother David (and whoever they may throw a ‘bone’ to), who will benefit from this insane move to create a pipeline across our precious water supply, are the titans of big oil. An industry that cares nothing for the people it f’s over, just ask the good people of the Gulf coast and their relationship with bp, an oil company that has DESTROYED The Gulf of Mexico!
WAKE UP AMERICA!
For it will be water that wars are fought over in the future America, WATER. A vital resource of LIFE and a supply that is dwindling by the day (see ground water problems in the Middle East, California, etc., on the Google!), as those WATERS will be, in a very short amount of ‘time’ much more important than OIL ever was.
Water will be worth more than GOLD soon. For one cannot drink oil, can they Senator? But don’t you worry your ignorant self about nuff’m, ’cause who gives a damn about future generations anyway! This ‘not your grandpa’s GOP‘ sure as $hit don’t.
Have a great week ahead folks and steer clear of the dreaded wooden nickles emanating from ‘the FOX hole’ of knowledge. Well, knowledge in this context being of an oxymoron value now–FOX “NEWS”. One must also realize that spending any ‘time’ in said black hole of knowledge will most certainly leave one with a sense of bewilderment, frustration, anger, rage, fear and the occasional terror. “Pass the Ebola Frank!” All for the price of a cable TV subscription of what, $200 bucks a month? What a deal! Where do you sign me up? Comcast and Verizon–don’t you go changing just to please me! A sentiment I suspect some of your customers who have a cable bill these days may be thinking as well, saying out loud to themselves (as the cable giants quietly attempt to quash Net Neutrality so they can finish the job of brainwashing/controlling America), “…“Gravity” again?!! I hated that movie the first time! George Clooney should have paid us all to watch that piece of crap!”.
