Happy Mother’s Day to ALL!

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 10:12 am

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the milky skied island of Nantucket! Great to be back with you on this Sunday morning, the thirteenth day of May, 2012, and a HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY to all around the world, may your day be filled with peace, love, and JOY, for that is what YOU gave to all of us. The tulip you see above is only a mere fraction of the love I feel for my mom who is going through her own trials and tribulations, yet, I know, even though she may be hurting, physically, she has the heart of a WHALE and still had the time to give to me what I needed today most of all, yes, that LOVE that only a MOTHER can give. From Cape Cod to Simsbury, Connecticut, I salute you mom, I love you and I thank you for making ME who I AM today.  I took a road trip yesterday to Boston on perhaps the most beautiful day I have EVER seen in that most brilliant city by the bay, east coast style, hoping against hope to be part of Adam Sandler’s next feature film, “Grownups II“, a funny title no matter how you slice it, as I wait for the film we shot last summer in Osterville, on the cape, “That’s my Boy”, starring the aforementioned Adam, Leighton Meester and the very funny SNL great Andy Samberg, to be released this spring!!!  Make sure you check it out if you want to have some what of a laugh this sizzling summer…  Again, my deepest blessings go out on this day to those women who have so much less than they deserve, and, GOD WILLING, WE all begin to SEA that ‘life’ does not just begin at conception, but goes on throughout our long, hopefully, happy lives—ALL because of a woman known ’round these here parts’ as MOM. PRESERVE THE WILDERNESS! Peace~M
