Happy Halloween!
The ghosts and goblins are out in full force today on Cape Cod. Expecting a whole host of costumes, such as Joe Lieberman going as the Grinch; John Baener as a glass of orange (it’s not just for breakfast anymore) juice; Mitch McConnell sporting his George Clooney outfit and ex-Vice President Dick Chenney as “the Penguin”–which I think is a personal foul against the arctic bird. Yes, Washington D.C. will dress itself up as an effective governing body of caring souls who will once and for all pass health care in the United States of America. Back here on Cape Cod, I will be attending a party in Hyannis, with several hundred other folks dressed up for this holiday that celebrates the kid in all of us. Kids still trick or treat in my neighborhood, providing a good dose of glee to see that despite all of the negative rhetoric and blatant fabrications going on in our nation’s capitol–citizens of this great nation still know how to have fun. Hoping you have a spooky and safe Halloween! Peace~ M
