Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the cloudy, cool island of Nantucket! Great to be with you on this Wednesday morning–this sixth day of May, 2015– comfortably seasonal day so far out on the Hyannis/Hyannis Port Waterfront(s), as the little sand bar created 11,500 years ago by ‘the Last Great Ice Age’ continues to put the finishing touches on a very popular summer destination, i.e. painting, pruning, prognosticating?, anticipating quite the summer ahead–AHOY!

For example, one could take in a whale watch, such as in the original out of Barnstable Harbor. One will venture out into the Cape Cod Bay, sailing north, destination, the Stellwagen Bank!  A protected marine area roughly fifty nautical miles (due northeast), of Provincetown, the very tip of the Cape as it were.  This rich plankton filled gold mine is the feeding area to many species of whale, dolphin, seagull, and other sea creature, all gorging on natures bounty, a bounty we all should be interested in preserving…

Giant, gentle souls more intelligent than man, migrating from deep in the Caribbean sea, from whence they mate, the Great Humpback Whale gracefully makes the trip North every Spring, ever protecting her calf, guiding her along to have her first real meal.

Yes, a meal.  As our friends on the right side of the aisle play with Social Security and other social programs as a ‘means’ to meet an ‘end’, i.e. more tax breaks for BILLIONAIRES!, it is HIGH time someone stand up and say ENOUGH is ENOUGH!  It is bad enough the entire system is rigged, this fabulous monetary-ism that has created a Corporatocracy (translation--rule by the wealthy), but to go after seniors via a 20 percent cut so that Mr. Koch can see more ‘black’, is simply not right.

OUR great Senator from this great state of Massachusetts held a ‘town hall’ via phone yesterday and I was honored to be a part of it.  Senator Elizabeth Warren (D–MA), is a rock star, as she, in plain and understandable ENGLISH, spells out what is really wrong with our current system of governance, and has plenty of common sense solutions to solve said problems, problems mostly due to outdated, unethical, UN-American, outrageous, and quite frankly criminal policies that have been perpetrated for the past three and a half decades on an unsuspecting American citizenry everyday.

It is clear that if more politicians such as Ms. Warren populated our great halls of governance, this country would do a 180 in less time than it takes for one to tie one’s shoes.

Have a pleasant day…
