Good Friday!
Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the pink and purple sun risen, breezy, cool, cocooned, 24 karat gold island of Nantucket! Great to be with you on The Tenth Day of April, 2020, broadcasting LIVE from Ocean Street here in Historic Hyannis, ‘the hub of Cape Cod’. A quiet, sobering, reflective ‘Good Friday’, as the nation and world at large wrestles with this ‘new normal’ that has been ‘randomly’ instituted upon them via a viral strain that no one has dared to deconstruct;
yet.
Some two thousand years plus years have passed since the man many called Jeshua, or Jesus, walked this earth, culminating in his grizzly death on the cross, commemorated by this most Holy Day. The three years prior to this event, carried out by ruling Romans of that era, Pontius PIlate being the man who ‘washed his hands and sealed his fate’, orchestrated by the Jewish high priests in power, the Sanhedrin, Jesus became a dominant figure amongst the people, speaking of wild ‘theories’, such as ‘love another as one loves himself’, ‘blessed are the meek’, or, perhaps the most controversial,
‘…the first will be last, and the last will be first.’
As he, riding a donkey, his twelve loyal Apostles, his Mother, Mary Magdalene, and others, walked into the city gates of ancient, sacred Jerusalem, it was known to Him that this would not be a long visit. His passion, his suffering, his death and ultimate resurrection, became well known throughout the coming civilizations yet to come. Moreover, the message He brought forth with no ego, no angle, no benefit to Him, has stood the test of ‘time’, mirroring His ascension, offering the greatest gift of example for the common man or woman to exercise at will. An eternal graced gift that introduces what He spoke of, for He was ‘not of this world’, indeed, making it clear, because He walked his talk;
“…paying no attention to the things of this world, focusing rather on His Father’s Kingdom in Heaven.”
Jesus was able to transcend the mortality of man at will, thereby proving death could not hold Him. His passion on the cross set free the true believers, releasing them from their sins. The ultimate sacrifice of LOVE for many a man who hammered in the final nail, and pierced his body with a bloody sword.
His final words,
“Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do.”
Jesus has given hope to many who never had it to begin with. Faith to even the hardest of heads. Love to lepers and legends alike. Power to the powerless. Spring to an endless winter. Joy to tear stained eyes. Food to the hungry. Shelter to those in the rain. Confidence to those in doubt. Faith in the face of folly. Reflection, silent prayer and meditation to anxious and fearful minds, and a new dawn that will defeat the darkness and usher in a brilliant, blinding, All Powerful Loving LIGHT that will shine forever.
A New Earth to enter into the next Age.
May you all SEA and feel this light of compassion, empathy, kindness and TRUTH.
Exposing this ‘reality’ for what it truly IS.
Have a blessed day folks!
PREERVE THE WILDERNESS! Peace~M
