The Ark Angel Gabriel adorns many roof tops on Cape Cod.  I’m not sure why, but it is reassuring none the less.  The sun did come out yesterday, as we have had two Nor’easters hit the coast this past week, perhaps a harbinger of things to come…not to bring up health care again, but…the American people are beginning to see the light in regard to this contemptuous issue.  As the opposition to any kind of REAL health care reform falls by the wayside, the call for real competition in the monopolized market of “health care” delivery, in the way of a public option, is gaining traction.  Most of the elected members of both the House and Senate are probably thinking to themselves, as they wake to another day in Washington D.C., do I really want to be on the wrong side of history?  Do I want to be remembered as the Senator who shot down health care reform, just to appease the insurance cartels–to allow them to continue the stranglehold they have right now on the American electorate?  Do we really want to contest a Harvard study that recently stated that over 45,000 people die every year because they don’t have health insurance?  Do we want to deny coverage, as the insurance company “Rocky Mountain Health” did, to a little baby who was a few pounds overweight?   Are you kidding?  When people really see what these elected officials are doing behind the scenes, taking money from the insurance lobby in Washington and ignoring the life and death issues that face their constituency, there will be a revolt against it.  So take heart America!  We still have a voice~  Have a great Wednesday!  Peace~ M
