Sea Cape Cod by Michael Mosier

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the mild, rather misty and soon to be clearing island of Nantucket! Great to be with you and yours on this December morn’, the 5th day of this most Holy month, in the year of OUR Lord, 2012, and can you believe what is still going on in the world of politics?   Yes, it’s a crying shame, for the Grinch lives in the hearts and souls of those whose main focus is this, and I quote our friend, Mitch, “the mouse”, McConnell (r-KY), or a big “R” if you will, who ‘think’ they own this country, “our number one goal is to defeat President Barack Obama in 2012″.  How did that “hopy changy” ?……… (sp?) thing work out for ya? (credit Sarah Palin, the new talk show host of the arctic circle that is melting as we speak…  Today, here on Cape, the temperature is in the upper 50’s and Jesus help US, help US ALL–to KNOW what WE, collectively, are doing to this planet that WE all hold so dear.  Fiscal cliff?  35 percent  versus 39 percent?  A fair percentage I might add.  Well, it just harkens back to Dr. Seuss, and his words in the famous cartoon, “The Grinch who stole Christmas”, circa, 1957,  a statement that represents most in congress today, and I quote—“Damn those WHO’S of Who?-ville, for are they to tell “US” what to pay so that WE keep this wonderful country alive and well?  For generations to come we will SEA this come to LIGHT! Just ask Suzie Lou Who–she’ll tell ya”. Hope you are all well and enjoying this most blessed part of the year, and ‘time’ where WE all come together, hopefully, putting away our differences and speak to that sweet sound of LOVE, LIGHT and FROGS, in other words, what makes this world go round and round…  PRESERVE THE WILDERNESS!
