Fog Island…

Filed under: Blog — Michael @ 10:27 am

Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the once again, rather foggy, misty island of Nantucket, seasonal temperatures included! Great to be with you on this 9th day of May, 2013, a nice cool day here on the ‘mainland’, via Hyannis and Hyannis Port, where, of course, the great Kennedy family hails from.  John F. Kennedy, our former 35th President of the United States, his beautiful wife Jackie, his brothers Bobby and Teddy, his sister Eunice and the rest of that fabled family, who changed this world forever–if you really read your history.  As I mentioned before, I have ‘unplugged’ not only the phone, but the television as well–for the moment.  The reason why is simple, to take a step back from the madness of war, the insanity of our political ’situation’ in this country and the never ending corporate news cycle (save MSNBC and PBS) that seems to miss the mark every time when it comes to why WE are really all here, and that, of course, is to LOVE one another.  The fog you SEA above you represents that metaphor I speak of, however, one can gain clarity if one is so inclined.  Food for thought, Cape Cod style and should you wish to visit this little sand bar created 11,500 years ago by the Last Great Ice Age, well I say Kudos to you and yours, for you will not be disappointed.  Have a great Thursday folks and may ‘the force be with you’…PRESERVE THE WILDERNESS! Peace~M
