Yes, it is finally getting to look like Fall on the Cape. Fall and Spring come later on Cape Cod and the Islands, as the warm and cool temperatures of the water affect the seasons’ development by slowing down the process of the trees’ annual cycle. In the spring, the leaves come out in earnest a good two to four weeks earlier in Boston, whereas in Osterville, the growing season is a little slower to come to fruition.
