‘Down on Main Street…’
Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the cool, cloudy, rather emotionally vacant island of Nantucket! (just kidding!). HO!, HO!, HO!, so gosh darn good to be with you and yours on this First Day of December, 2015. A “wicked” quiet Tuesday down on Main Street Hyannis at this nine a.m. hour, save for the locals who scurry about to work, spinning off to Trader Joe’s or McDonald’s, or a whole host of other corporate entities that are slowly turning this into, no, “no, no, no, take it down Jimmy, take it down”, (credit Stephen Colbert, host of “The Late Show”). Fortunately, most of the other towns and hamlets ‘established’, rather ‘emergent’ across this little sand bar created by the “Last Great Ice Age” 11,500 years ago, yes, fortunately for US, most of those towns still hold a “Christmas Stroll” and have no neon signs, screaming at our five senses the corporate mantras en masse, lo constant messaging and brainwashing 24.7, Holy God! When one strolls down these main streets from Falmouth to Provincetown, Nantucket to Truro, one is metaphysically teleported back in ‘time’ to another era, one much simpler than that illusion WE collectively agree upon today…
Bringing back memories of “Scrooge”, from the Charles Dickens tale released in 1843, a book entitled, “A Christmas Carol”. A scary wit where 3 ghosts visit an old man with more money than God. Well, you know the story…
Moral of said story; ‘It’s nice to be important, but it’s more important (in the Grand Scheme of things), to be NICE.’
Keep in mind folks that this dog and pony show called the ‘presidential elections of 2016′ is turning into the farce WE all knew it would. For a man of Principal, such as the great and much needed U.S. Independent Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders is being cast aside by the corporate owned, disinfected, sterilized, scrubbed and homogenized media, owned entirely by the OUR ruling elite, indeed, dictating who will be president before he, or she, becomes such.
Therefore, that one and only man in this 2016 election process of ‘Reality TV’ meets both the GOP and the Democratic party, with ALL falling madly in Love!’, indeed the one who speaks the TRUTH of what is really happening ’round these here parts’, lo, goes to the mat on issue after issue, desperately attempting to save a failing democracy with that little letter ‘d’, is being snubbed by said media moguls, and for good reason. Corruption hates sunlight. So do rats.
One so powerful that that one man cannot be expected to survive an onslaught of so much fire power in the form of money, influence and that ‘establishment’ bureaucracy that kills initiative and stifles change of any kind, for that is not the point any longer now is it, it has not been so for quiet some time now has it not? I say now, to you dear sir, can you imagine the notion a ’socialist’ from the tiny state of Vermont becoming the defunct LEADER of the now corporate owned democratic party, can you? How perfectly dreadful!
