“Continetal Divide”
Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the brilliant blue skied day, bitter cold, bountiful island of Nantucket! It is the Twenty-Third Day of March, 2017, an unseasonably chilly Thursday, ‘down on the docks’ of ye ‘ole Hyannis Harbor!
“Arrggghh Matey!”
(credit: the legend, the man, the crusty old sea dog; the great ‘journalist’ scallywag Rupert Murdoch, from ‘down unda’… The infamous CEO of ‘News Corporation’…, one of the many, multinational ‘think tanks’ that have hijacked the world’s consciousness…)
“Hence, the great ‘Continental Divide”; of who we really are and can be. Whilst the ‘powers that be’ wish those same souls to never, ever SEA!”
Early stars lit the sky, four a.m., as this “humble” reporter awoke to witness the sun rising once again over ‘Steamship Authority’ vessels that ferry passengers back and forth to that fabled isle twenty seven nautical miles, south/southeast of where this ‘message in a bottle’ may be reaching…
“HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!”
Tuned into ACK.FM , “Nantucket’s true island radio”–tap the tap; download the APP!–inspiration restored, for even at that ‘witching hour’, music always rings in shades of brilliant blue… Thanks again Chris! “Taking Fog to Nantucket” is exactly as you described another book this early morn. Although, it seems, Donald Sutherland and Koffee FM have already bought the movie rights…
“…are you joking?”

When this rogue cowboy ‘washed ashore’ on Nantucket Island in 2003; “Continental Divide” pulled the spirit through. A rare film, starring the great, late, John Belushi, circa 1981 representing a polar opposite of this ‘reporter’s’ experience. However, similarities? Oh, they are profound; and quite eclipsing to ego’s eternal battle and control over man’s eternal soul…
“The duality therein…”
’soul man’ indeed John!
PRESERVE THE WILDERNESS! Peace~M
