Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the great island of Nantucket!  Great to be with you on this, well, in a word, very snow bound Cape Cod, Osterville to be specific and, looking at the image above, you can clearly see that this looks more like the mountains of Colorado, where I used to live, than the sandy beaches of Cape Cod.  Europe is feeling this same effect, what “effect” that is, is now up to the politicians who run the whole “Global warming is the greatest HOAX ever played on the American People…”  Leaving that aside, for a moment, I want to wish you and yours a very good morning and fine day ahead, as we ease on into the Christmas season that has seemingly made this country go temporarily insane.  “Christmas to you Ted, what does that mean, to me, it’s a living hell.” Quoting, of course, from the very fine movie Airplane! starring the late, great Leslie Nielsen, who, along with his late, great co-actor, gave us all another profound quote, those with a sense of humor, stating, when asked a question of whether or not he was serious, stated, in no uncertain terms, “I am serious, and don’t call me Surely.” So, here we ALL are on this twenty first day of December, 2010, awaiting, what, WE are not sure.  Perhaps, it is the WAKING up of our nation to the bulls$t that has transpired over the past 30 years, living in a literal “Stockholm Syndrome”… thanking our overlords for extending the unemployment benefits for over 7 million Americans who lost their jobs through no fault of their own (in exchange for 700 billion dollars for the rich), rather, through the republican party who is in bed with the global corporate agenda, hell bent on killing our brothers and sisters one cruel “slam dunk” at a time.  Honesty, Ted, what does that mean to you? Apparently the souls of those that are about to take the mantle of “power” have lost their way and have no way to find those bread crumbs that were left, by Hansel and Gretel, as they were eaten by the birds that were hungry, for their wildlife sanctuaries, their true HOME, have been taken over by the likes of the KOCH brothers and all of the rest of the scumbags who met in Aspen recently planning on another “fracking deal”… you know who you ARE. I want US ALL to KNOW what is up and if the TRUTH is to be known, WE must all take a step back, especially in the media, and ask ourselves, collectively, “what the hell are we doing here…”  A quote from the great film “Dead Poet’s Society” put it best, as the boys in cave read poems, one says to the rest, “we read these poems, and if we aren’t going to doing anything about it, then what the hell are we doing?”  You can put that to the test, for if the words of Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, John Adams and the rest of our founding fathers are to mean anything, we MUST take a stand for the TRUE nature of those words and deeds that those real men of yesteryear communicated to create a more perfect UNION, a union that is between us poor human beings and our creator, who does not think too much about uncontrolled GREED and POWER, that, in the end, power, does not lie with those who “think” that they have the power, but within the CREATOR who created THEM.  Have a wonderful day!  PRESERVE THE WILDERNESS! Peace~M
