Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the incredibly, sunny, gorgeous, cool, temperate, need I say more, island of Nantucket! Great to be with you on this Tuesday afternoon, the twenty-fifth day of September, a day for the ages, as I just witnessed OUR very fine President, Barack Obama, give a speech only a few moments ago to a crowd in New York City, where the Clinton Global Initiative was taking place, speaking on behalf of those who have no voice, victims of horrible trafficking crimes against humanity, a humanity that WE ALL share. I put it simply, for one need only Google that speech that brought this humble reporter to tears. WE are all one and if you do not believe that, then either you are brain dead or just a sadistic son of bitch who cares only for PROFIT, rather than PEOPLE. WE need to real ‘eyes’ that this is not about just politics, it is about humanity, a way that we treat each other–for Kindness, LOVE and Compassion RULE in the end, via the very words of many who follow him, namely Jesus himself, a man who walked this earth over 2012 years ago, who, many times for political reasons, yes, claim to embrace and sometimes use to their own benefit. Hypocrisy is much like the kiss Judas gave when giving up that man to the Romans so many moons ago. To be clear, many claimed to follow, to his ‘enemies’, as he was led away to slaughter, however, in his infinite wisdom, Jesus never condemned that Apostle, not that man, no, he asked God to FORGIVE him, as well as those who killed him. I ask you, my brothers and sisters across the globe, do you feel the same? Or is it just a ruse to get what you want? Food for thought as we ease on into the October 3rd U.S. Presidential debates, debates that WILL reveal what IS the TRUTH and what is simply a LIE for political, and dare I say, financial gain. Time will tell, for the proof of the pudding is in the eating, and WE all need to eat, ALL of 7 billion of us, not just those who live in this most blessed country on earth called the United States of America… Have a great day and stay tuned, same bat station, same bat channel, not to be confused with the bat ‘$hit’ station of FOX “NEWS”, excuse my language, where the side effects still include blurred vision, nausea, cramps, bloating and an overwhelming ‘belief’ you are the ‘master of the universe’, when you are nothing more than a cog in the wheel of this thing we call LIFE.
