Greetings and salutations from the sand, sun and surf of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and the sunny, balmy, breezy and quite beautiful island of Nantucket! Great to be with you on a glorious late Tuesday morning, the Fifteenth Day of December 2015. Coming to you LIVE; ‘down on the docks’ of Historic Hyannis’ inner harbor, just a couple more steps to the Hyline that ferries one over to either one of the aforementioned isles, islands that have brought so much joy to so many people over the years…
As this humble reporter strolled down Ocean Street earlier this morn’, I was struck by the silence of the season, a great calm that hovers over the land. Is it anticipation of sugar plum ferries or something else? Who knows! The Bufflehead cares not, as long as the morning fishing excursion is not interrupted by ‘the things of man’…
The blessed soil, the blessed air, the blessed water will become clean once again I pray…
